Pacific Beach Property Management

Pacific Beach is a town known widely for its exciting nightlife and sunny beaches. This is why pacific beach receives a great deal of tourist traffic year round, especially in the summer months. With its proximity to Seaworld, San Diego Events Center (formerly the Sports Arena) and Belmont park it is no surprise that Pacific Beach is a destination. The shopping and nightlife along Pacific Beach’s main drag, Garnett Avenue, are a also a destination in their own right.

La Jolla forms the northern border of Pacific Beach, geographically PB ends as the neighborhood meets a hill and as flat beaches give way to rocky cliffs. To the west of Pacific Beach sits Clairmont atop a mesa and the 5 freeway. To the South of Pacific Beach is Mission Bay, and Mission Beach. Across the bay you will find the neighborhoods of Midway and Point Loma.

In the summer it is not unusual to find the sands of Pacific beach blanketed with sunbathers and beach-goers. Crystal Pier is a landmark which stands above the beach sands. During the summer months waters along Pacific beach are often clear and warm.

Less than a city block inland of the beach you can find a completely different aquatic experience at Mission Bay. Mission Bay is a popular location for a myriad of water-sports including fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and motor-boating. There are officially designated zones in which to enjoy your activity of choice, so if you seek tranquility or excitement there is a place for you. Some of the most desirable living locations are also along the bay where walking paths and parks are perfect for strolls on sunny days or cool mornings. Also coveted are beachfront properties that often become seasonal rentals.

Tourmaline Beach Park, also known as Pacific Beach Point is the choice spot for surfers who live in Pacific Beach. It is near the Northern edge of the neighborhood where the sea cliffs rise to La Jolla. This is a great place to explore some tide-pools or go for a walk when the beaches further south are inundated during tourist season. Another great park to explore is Fanuel park along the bay. It is a great walking destination or starting point. The path which can be accessed here is also a safe and fun place to bike, much like the boardwalk which runs parallel to the coast.

Away from the bay in the part of the neighborhood which stretches towards La Jolla in the North are pleasantly calm neighborhoods. With all the excitement around the beach and Garnett Avenue this are may seem like another world. Here you will find a much larger proportion of permanent residents who enjoy the same perks of living near the ocean and bay albeit in a much quieter way. More neighborhood pockets of this sort can be found collected in Crown Point.

The drive from pacific beach to San Diego State university and University of California San diego is almost equidistant. Many college students choose to reside in this neighborhood which also lends itself well to hourly and seasonal employment.

Crown Point is a peninsula which points into Mission Bay. In addition to great bayside living its residents also enjoy being a central elementary school. Besides the elementary school on Crown Point there are several other schools nearby including Mission Bay Highschool, Pacific Beach Middle School and a private primary. In true Pacific Beach Fashion there is also a DJ academy where adults and children can learn how mix music for live events.
